A hidden champion is a woman, read female, who is dedicated, committed, takes on care work, has created, invented and contributed great things - and yet is neither seen nor sufficiently appreciated for it, not to mention not rewarded. There have been many hidden champions since people have been living in societies.
In the art project "Hidden Championnes", artist Roxana Panetta aims to make a few of the many hidden heroines visible: with paintings in the style of the era in which the woman worked, with portraits in her own style and with this golden cup. A gift for a woman to herself or to another woman who needs to be seen.
